Aquagroovers Christmas in July
On Wednesday July the Aquagroovers enjoyed a lovely Christmas in July lunch at Alfred’s Homestead which is located in the hills of Warrandyte. It was a perfect setting as it was a cold and miserable day outside but all the ladies enjoyed a warming winter roast inside.
The wonderful food included seafood, roast meats and vegetables; salads and delicious deserts which left everyone feeling very satisfied and a little guilty. The talk was all about how they had to work extra hard in the next days aqua class.
It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces as the entertainment started up with tap dancers, opera singers and a few well know tunes which was accompanied by a pianist. All the ladies got involved and sung their hearts out. Many found it a great opportunity to catch up with their fellow aqua exercise mates which left some chatting to well after 3:30pm.
These member events are a great way for not only the Aquagroovers to get together in a social setting, but to also consolidate their friendship they have built whilst working out most mornings together. All of the ladies are looking for ward the end of year function which will celebrate all their fantastic work throughout 2010.
