Regular exercise is the proven key for older adults staying vital, independant, healthy and well.
Our Seniors Circuit Strength Training class has been designed specifically for mature adults who want to prevent the muscle and bone loss that commonly occurs with ageing. The group class is also suitable for people recovering from injury / surgery with a strong emphasis on functional mobility.
Research has shown that regular strength training can dramatically improve and maintain muscle strength, balance and flexibility. This increases bone density, helping prevent fractures and other complications including arthritis and osteoporosis.
We recognise that people come to us with different needs and are at various levels of functionality. For this reason we individualise the exercises to meet the specific needs of each person.
The class is designed to be an enjoyable and social time of the week with music you will love. Make a commitment today to Happier, Healthy Living!
