Aquarena Summer Entertainment Series 2009

Aquarena is the place to be this summer with a huge range of special aquatic themed "Summer Splash Days" planned throughout the December, January and February holiday season for all children to enjoy.

On any one of this popular series of 4 big Sunday events, the standard Aquarena entry fee will include unlimited access to all of the aquatic themed activities available on the day, including the giant water slide, monster pool inflatable, jumping castles, special children's entertainment, pool competitions, prizes and more.

There's no better value and place to be this summer for children who want to spend the day having hours of fun and staying cool in a fully supervised environment, so bring the family along and don't miss out.

Summer Entertainment Series Dates:

Summer Splash Day 1: Sunday 20th December
Summer Splash Day 2: Sunday 10th January
Summer Splash Day 3: Sunday 24th January (Aust Day Theme)
Summer Splash Day 4: Sunday 7th February

Cost of entry

Access to all activities is free and included in Aquarena’s standard entry fees. Please note that children under 10 years of age must remain under the active supervision of a responsible person 16 years or older. *Australia day sausage sizzle small fee applies.

Activities will include:

		Monster pool inflatable Children love the challenge and excitement of tackling our Monster pool inflatable anchored in the deep end of the outdoor 50 metre heated pool. With obstacles including barrels, tunnels, high walls and slippery wet surfaces, getting through to the end is always heaps of fun.
		Giant water slide Aquarena's giant water slide is a proven favorite providing participants with an exhilarating experience from the very top of the tower down through a series of thrilling twists and turns, culminating with a final jump and splash into the plunge pool waiting 70 metres below.
		Childrens characters Young children will love the special appearances by their favorite Aquarena aquatic characters including Jet the shark, Philbert the frog, and Shellet the shrimp. Spreading a message of fun and safety near the water, our Aquatic heroes will be making a range of appearances through-out with give aways, educational hand outs and more.
		Jumping castle Located on the outdoor lawn area between the outdoor and indoor pools, the giant jumping castle is everyone’s favourite. Kids love bouncing up and down off the inflatable floors and walls and just having fun in a large, soft padded environment with friends and other children.
		Dive pool Enjoy the challenge of our two, one metre spring boards in our outdoor diving pool. See who can make the biggest splash during our popular bombing competitions throughout the summer series. With two small diving boards available, children can jump, dive, bomb or just have fun while enjoying a refreshing change to the swimming pools.
		Competitions and prizes Throughout our summer entertainment series, a number of competitions and special events will take place where we will be giving away over 10 boogie boards, t-shirts, sports caps, water bottles and more. Pool inflatable races, bombing competitions, volleyball competitions and more, children of all ages can enter and have a chance to win big.
		Beach volleyball Get your team together and have some competitive fun in the sun this summer. Our outdoor sand beach volleyball court is the ideal place for a healthy active summer afternoon. Defend your side of the court against the opposition and get ready to scramble, chase, dive, spike and serve your way to fitness and fun in the sun.
		Indoor and outdoor heated pools Swim, kick, paddle or splash, the most fun you’ll have this summer will be at Aquarena with 4 big pools to enjoy, including the outdoor 50 metre heated pool, indoor 25 metre pool, indoor toddler and indoor learner’s pool. It’s the perfect place to have hours of fun and stay cool, in a fully supervised environment.
		A variety of games and events Along with the standard range of aquatic facilities and aquatic themed games that will be available on all four summer splash days, there will also be a variety of different games appearing over the series which may include mini golf, gladiator duelling, giant obstacle course and more. These events may be added extras on any one of our special splash days for more added fun and excitement so don’t miss out.
